Setting automation parameters, display options, projection, and snapping

The behaviour and look of Metria CityModeler can be changed in a number of ways. Most of these changes can be made in the Settings dialog, described below.

For example, there are a few parameters, which control the automatic 3D measurements. Or you may want to display measured object in a particular color. Or you may want to export your measurements to a particular coordinate system. These are all examples of want you can do in the Settings dialog.

The settings are applied only to the currently opened project. The settings are stored in the XML project file. If you make a selection of any kind in the Settings dialog, you will be asked to save changes when closing the project. You are recommended to always answer Yes in order to reopen the project in the same state as you left it.
