3D city models
Three-dimensional city models (3DCM) are increasingly being used for planning
purposes. Particularily cell planning for telecommunication makes use of 3DCM:s. There
are also architectural and environmental applications of 3DCM:s. The 3DCM is generally
a vector based description of buildings, often combined with a raster based description of
the topology.
