Metria CityModeler

Metria CityModeler creates three-dimensional city models (3DCM:s) from a pair of very high resolution (VHR) satellite scenes and (optionally) a digital surface model (DSM).

Metria CityModeler can create DSM:s and ortho photos automatically, using the integrated WiMap DSM generator.

The stereo pair may be from e.g. the Ikonos, QuickBird or WorldView satellite. You may even create a new stereo pair, using images from different satellites and taken at different times. Metria CityModeler allows you to remove model inconsistencies in such mixed stereo pairs. Metria CityModeler also allows you to resample the images to epipolar geometry. Read more here.

The object system is defined by the sensor model, but can be translated within Metria CityModeler. Both sensor model and measured objects are then translated to the new positions, which can be defined in UTM or WGS-84.

The 3D city model is written to a Shape file and to a Google Earth kml vector file.

Metria CityModeler is developed by ReVisitor AB (http://www.revisitor.se), Sweden. See also here (http://www.citymodeler.com).
